Bad Boy Productions DJ Service Was Officially Formed In 1992.
Before That We Were Know As Big Boy Productions From 1990 to 1992. Big Boy Productions Started In Friends Garages Doing Garage Parties For Money. Back In Those Day's We Were Playing With The Old Radio Shack Mixer, 2 Home Turntables And Some Borrowed Speakers From Mama's Stereo. They Were Replaced With Gemini Mixers, Technics Turntables And Cassette Tapes. At That Time I Was Doing School Dances And Private Parties. When I Turned 16 And Was Able To Drive, And Get Out More Places Without Having To Get Rides.
In 1992 I Changed The Name To Bad Boy Productions. I Added Weddings and Clubs To The List Of Events I Did. The First Club Gig I Did Was Sweetbriars On Water Street. After Getting A Couple Of Gigs There I Was Asked To Play At B.J.'s. Man That Was The Life For A 16 Year Old. Getting Paid To Have Fun.
I Slacked Up On The DJing From 1998 to 2000 Around The Time I Got Engaged to Tammie Meads. That Wild Life Just Wasn't A Good Life In A Relationship.
In 2000 Tammie And Myself Broke It Off And Bad Boy Productions Was Back In Full Force.
In 2001 Donnly Nelson aka "B-Nel" and Ricky Owens aka "R-Owens" Came On Board. We Picked Up R & E's in Gliden. We Played R & E's Until They Closed Down. Man We Had Allot Of fun Times There. At That Same Time CMP opened Up In Elizabeth City And We Picked Them Up For Some Steady Club Gigs. The Same Time All That Was Going On THUMPERS Had A Steady Booking With Us Also. Sometime In All This Fuss Jason Corbell Came On Board As A "Roadie" And Had Allot OF Fun With Us.
In 2001 I Decided Video Was Going To Be The Next Big Thing So I Added It To The Show. Offering DVD Music Videos And Doing Photography At The Gigs So The People Could See Their selves On The Screen. This Also Added A Custom Touch To Weddings, Letting Us Put Baby Pictures And Such On The Screen At Your Wedding.
In 2002 B-Nel Decided He Wanted Us To DJ His Senior Prom At Pasquotank County High School So I Then Added Proms To Our Specialty. We Were The Only One's Offering A Custom Video Show In Our Gigs At That Time.
In 2003 When Rookies Opened We Were Asked To Play There And Packed The House The First Night We Were There.
